The Vision West ND Youth Advisory Council was created as an ad hoc committee to work with the Vision West ND Board of Directors, consortium, and administration. The Council is comprised of young individuals aged 15-18.

They work with fellow youth and their advocates in western ND communities, community, and elected leaders, the state of ND, and others associated with the youth in communities to help the Vision West ND region increase and improve its youth outreach. The Vision West ND Youth Advisory Council partners with the school district to develop the committee’s objectives.

Scope and Key Objectives

• Raise awareness of youth-related issues and ideas.

• Provide educational opportunities and resources for communities to assist with new and existing programs and facilities that promote Youth.

• Promote opportunities for Youth and families to learn and grow together.
