ND Planning & Zoning Workshop (7/19/2024)

The Planning & Zoning Workshop, hosted by Vision West ND, provides essential education and training to community leaders, planners, and zoning officials across the region. This workshop addressed the best practices in planning and zoning, including enforcement challenges and policy inconsistencies that affect uniformity and equity among subdivisions. Participants will benefited from comprehensive sessions covering topics such as strategic planning, zoning laws, and the practical application of planning tools and resources.

Small Town and Rural Multi-Modal Networks 

A resource and idea book intended to help small towns and rural communities support safe, accessible, comfortable, and active travel for people of all ages and abilities. It provides a bridge between existing guidance on bicycle and pedestrian design and rural practice, encourage innovation in the development of safe and appealing networks for bicycling and walking in small towns and rural areas, and show examples of peer communities and project implementation that is appropriate for rural communities.
