Virtual listening session
HHS is hosting a virtual listening session on Tuesday, May 6, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. CT moderated by our partner, The Justice Well program. Attendees will be asked questions on select topic.
To show appreciation for their participation, attendees will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win one of 15 - $50 gift cards from the Center for Health Care Strategies.

Survey
Starting May 1, HHS will make available a short survey about how Medicaid can better serve its members. Participants don’t have to share who they are to take the survey. The survey will take 5-10 minutes to complete. Look for this survey on the Medicaid member feedback webpage.

HHS has created a partner toolkit that you can use to promote the listening session and survey. Click the + sign next to the “listening session” and “survey” accordions on the webpage.
Flyers: Print and hang up where Medicaid members will see the flyers.

Free suicide prevention training for providers who service Service Members, Veterans, and their families.
Reducing access to potentially dangerous methods can determine whether a person at risk for suicide lives or dies.
Counseling on Access to Lethal Means (CALM) equips providers with the skills to begin life-saving conversations about suicide risk, limiting access, and safe storage
